When we say we have exceptional employees, we’re not exaggerating. In 2020, Brandon Cortese, a first-year apprentice based out of our Gulfport office, received the Bravery Award from the Deputy Director of NASA for acting quickly when a man on the NCCIPS Project at Stennis Space Center had a life-threatening accident. Brandon swiftly and efficiently applied a tourniquet to the man’s arm to stop the bleeding, likely saving the man’s arm and possibly even his life, according to medical experts from the hospital. Brandon also received the Safety Award from John Drace of Drace Construction for his outstanding demonstration of safety protocol.
